International guests

SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION

Applications to host international guests should be filled out in the system, which can be found at: wnioski.dwz.agh.edu.pl

The electronically submitted application must be printed and submitted to the AGH Centre for International Affairs (pavilion C-1, first floor, room 108), in two copies, at least seven working days before  the guest's arrival. If the application deadline is not met, there is no guarantee that the payment of funds intended for the guest will be carried out on time.

ALLOWANCES FOR INTERNATIONAL GUESTS

Under the Ordinance No. 3/2018 of the Rector of the AGH University in Krakow, specifying the rules for granting allowance to foreign guests coming to the University at the invitation of the faculties or other organizational units of AGH, we would like to inform you about the following:

  1. An international guest invited by AGH University may receive a daily allowance of up to PLN 650 per day of stay.
  2. The amount of the allowance is determined by the Dean of the inviting Faculty or the head of another AGH organizational unit, within the available resources, taking into account the limit specified in point 1.
  3. Apart from the allowance, a foreign guest is not entitled to any other benefits.

Additional benefits for the guest can only be offered as part of specific ongoing projects (such as research or education projects). Relevant documentation, indicating the amount of other allowances, must be submitted with the application. Allowances for the international guests are paid by bank transfer to the personal account of the faculty supervisor or another authorized person, not directly to the guest. Payment of the allowance in the form of a bank transfer to the guest's account is not permitted.

SETTLEMENT

The settlement of the costs of an international guest's stay is made based on the provided confirmation of the reception of the allowance from the AGH University of Krakow. A signed confirmation of receiving the allowance (with the guest's legible signature) must be submitted to the Center for International Affairs (C-1, room 108).

If the guest has not arrived, the allowance must be returned within 7 days (from receiving the resignation from the guest), along with proof of the refund transaction.

OBLIGATION TO REGISTER INTERNATIONAL GUESTS IN THE SYSTEM

All international guests must be registered in the system, even if no costs are incurred by the university ("no-cost guests"). This is necessary for collecting statistical data on international visits to AGH.
