SPINAKER

International School at AGH University

The SPINAKER programme supports the development and implementation of intensive international education programmes, i.e. short-term courses conducted in a language other than Polish and intended especially for foreigners, i.e. students, doctoral students and staff of higher education and research institutions. AGH University has been awarded funding under this program a total of three times already. The two completed editions of the programme enabled 76 student exchanges from countries including Japan, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and the Western Balkans. In the current project, AGH University will accept as many as 80 students from Latin American countries. The SPINAKER programme is not only about education – it is about building intercultural bridges, exchanging scientific experiences and creating a common space for innovation and development.

SPINAKER – Intensive International Education Programmes

The SPINAKER Programme of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) supports universities and research institutions in creating and implementing Intensive International Education Programmes (IMPK) conducted in foreign languages.

The main goal of the programme is to internationalise Polish higher education and research institutions. Its specific objectives include increasing interest in educational opportunities offered by Polish universities among international students and doctoral candidates, boosting their participation in academic programmes in Poland, and expanding the range of intensive international programmes — including those offered in hybrid or online formats.
