On 8–9 June 2026, a representative of the International Relations Section of the AGH International Affairs Centre participated in the 2nd Staff Welcome Centre Forum, held under the theme “Supporting People, Streamlining Processes” and organized by the University of Łódź.
The Forum programme featured inspiring presentations, panel discussions, and workshops devoted to employee well-being, prevention of professional burnout, the operation of Welcome Points, and the exchange of good practices in supporting international academic communities. Networking sessions and working meetings were also an important part of the event, providing opportunities for participants to share experiences and strengthen cooperation in the field of internationalisation.
The Forum also offered an excellent opportunity to meet with partners of the Regional Małopolska NAWA–EURAXESS Network (Euraxess Małopolska) and exchange experiences related to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for international researchers, doctoral candidates, and their families. The NAWA–EURAXESS Network programme supports the development of regional cooperation between higher education and research institutions, as well as organisations working to support foreign nationals.
We would like to thank the organisers for creating a valuable space for meaningful discussions, networking, and the joint development of solutions that support the continued internationalisation of Polish higher education institutions.
