Upon completion of the recruitment process, students who have qualified for the mobility and have been notified of the decision by the Faculty Coordinators/employees of the AGH CIA and have received confirmation of their nomination to the partner universities (According to the Erasmus AGH University regulations, nominations for partner universities are submitted by AGH University Cooperation Coordinators - often even before the end of the recruitment process, when the nomination deadlines are early, except when other, internal rules for nominations for partner universities apply at a given faculty) prepare the documents necessary to be submitted to the CIA in order to sign the student-AGH University financial agreement:
1. Learning Agreement - porozumienie o programie zajęć.
The Learning Agreement (LA) is an agreement between the student, the host university and the home Faculty, setting out the programme of courses the student is expected to attend at the host university and the number of ECTS credits for each subject. The agreement contains a list of subjects that the student is required to complete at the foreign university in order for the home university to recognise and credit the period of study.
The student should submit to the Centre for International Affairs an LA document approved by the Dean and the partner university in order to sign the AGH University-student financial agreement.
The document must include the exact dates of study (day, month, year) for the subsequent calculation of the scholarship. In the absence of exact dates in the LA, an additional letter/email from the partner university confirming the exact period of planned study must be provided.
A scan of the LA document before departure is acceptable for signing the grant agreement.
You can make changes to the selected subjects during mobility in the LA during the mobility. Changes should be agreed with the Dean of the Faculty and the Faculty Coordinator and the host university.
The number of subjects, ECTS credits, rules for transcription of marks, etc. ECTS, rules for transcription of marks, etc. should be consulted with the Dean of the Faculty and the Faculty Coordinator.
During the scholarship, in accordance with the Erasmus+ rules, it is required to obtain 30 ECTS points/semester or 60 ECTS points/year. In exceptional, justified cases, permission to realise a lower number of ECTS is given by the University Coordinator after the student receives consent from the Dean of the student's home faculty. The letter addressed to the University Coordinator together with the consent/support of the request by the Dean of the student's home faculty should be submitted to the CIA.
2. Application for travel abroad
The document should be downloaded from the website: https://wnioski.dwz.agh.edu.pl
After obtaining the status ‘in preparation’, please print the document and obtain the required signatures and stamps (signature of the student, the Faculty Coordinator and the Dean, department stamp in the upper left-hand corner). The document prepared in this way should be delivered to the Centre for International Affairs.
3. Third party liability and accident insurance
Proof of liability (third party liability) and accident insurance (personal accident insurance) must be provided to the CIA at the latest when signing the student-AGH University financial contract. The student organises the insurance on their own.
PLEASE NOTE: As of the Erasmus+ KA131 2024 project, third-party and accident insurance are not compulsory for the duration of the students' mobility.
4 Health insurance / EHIC card
Before signing the student-AGH University financial agreement, the student is obliged to provide the CIA with an EHIC card or other health insurance valid for the duration of the stay abroad.
5. Green Travel Declaration (if applicable) - travel using low-carbon modes of transport such as bus, train or car pooling.
The document should be downloaded from the ‘Documents’ tab, completed and delivered to the CIA before departure.
Bank details
The scholarship is paid to the scholarship holder's named account. Students should have their own bank account; all Polish and foreign banks are accepted.
NOTE: the scholarship is paid in EURO. We suggest having a foreign currency account to avoid currency conversion costs.
Signing of the Erasmus+ student-AGH University financial agreement
Depending on the date of the student's departure for studies, the student is obliged to send a Learning Agreement approved by the Dean of the home faculty to the e-mail address erasmus(at)agh.edu.pl:
In the title of the email, please write ‘LA name / faculty abbreviation’.
All the required documents needed to sign the financial agreement including the LA also approved by the host university should be submitted to the CIA no later than 30 days before the date of the planned departure.
PLEASE NOTE: Students are requested to contact in advance by phone or e-mail the supervisor of the respective department at the CIA (list below) to discuss the current procedures for signing the financial agreement for the trip. The required documents should then be submitted in person to the CIA office (C-1, room 109).
If you have problems meeting the above deadlines, please contact us by phone or email.
